OPI - First Date At The Golden Gate & essence - party princess VALENTINES DAY MANI #8

Hello everyone!

Today I want to show you a very simple Valentines Day appropriate manicure. Can't believe it is already #8!

I started off with two coats of OPIs First Date At The Golden Gate on a layer of Maybelline Base Coat.
For the name alone, I would choose this polish for a Valentines Day manicure! But the colour is stunning too! It is a very bright rusty red that would look fabulous on its own. This creme polish was very easy to apply and reached full opacity with tow coats. It dries pretty quick and to a glossy finish. These pictures were taken without a topcoat.

To add a little sparkle, I put on a layer of essense -party princess wich is a pink jelly polish with the most beautiful iridescent glitter in it. There is lots of small hexagonal glitter in it but also some funny shaped pieces, that give this polish its beauty.

I think that you can see the glitter very well in this blurry shot.
What I love about this polish is, that it does not cover up the red. If you wouldn't know, you would never guess that this is a pink based glitter polish. Maybe with a lighter base colour, the pink would pop out more.

Anyway I am very happy with this combination and will definetely be wearing this again!

How do you like todays Valentines Day Manicure?

Did you get a chance to see my other 7 Valentine Manis? Check them out!
