L'Oreal - Scarlet Vamp & Noir Whisper

Hello Beauties!

Today I want to show you two beautiful L'Oreal Color Riche nail polishes, that I purchased a while ago, when I was in Austria. First up is Scarlet Vamp (404), a beautiful red creme polish.

Scarlet Vamp has an excellent formula and is very easy to apply. I had no cleanup to do at all. But it is very sheer. I used three coats for these swatches and there is still a VNL. I will consider layering it over another polish next time, because I really love the colour of thisone. Depending on the lighting it appears to be a deep ruby red or a bright blazing red.

I even caught some sunlight. I have to admit, that the colour appears to be fully opaque in direct sunlight. Only in pictures with a flash the nail line is visible. (VNL)

As an accent I applied two coats of Noir Whisper (891) to my thumb and ringfinger (after removing the red polish!).

Noir Whisper is a dark silver textured polish with a spikey effect. The formula of this second L'Oreal polish is also very good and gave me no trouble applying it. It was almost opaque in only one coat, but for the texture to show it is best to apply two coats. I am usually not the biggest fan of textured polishes, but thisone I really love! The colour is wonderful. Such a dark greyish silver wich is brought to life by the little spikes.

Then I went a little crazy again and addes silver circles to the tip of my red nails. I think that looks really cute! Maybe I should have done red ones on the silver, but I just thought of that right now while writing this post down.

I love both of these polishes and will definitely wear them again. I also am quite satisfied with how my manicure turned out.
